K1's Rock the Winter Game Qualifiers!
Donal Beauchamp, Sam Wall, Mattie Smith, Emerson Ostrander At AWG trials  Rabbit Hill December 19th,2009

On Dec 19th four of our K1's went to Rabbit Hill with Gilbert Wall and skied their hearts out.  From Zone 5, Sam came in 1st, Mattie came in 3rd, Emerson came in 4th,  and Donal just found out he is going too!  Good luck at the Alberta Winter Games in Cold Lake!

Join the coolest, fastest crowd at Marmot Basin means more than just racing!

 

Our coaching encourages improved style, balance and confidence encouraging young athletes to ski better, faster and safer and have great fun while doing it? In addition to the course training, all-mountain free skiing is part of our daily routine.

Our Mission:

To provide skiers of all abilities with the opportunity to participate in an alpine racing program which promotes safety, sportsmanship and a lifelong love of skiing.

 

All skiers will be given an opportunity to develop racing skills within a supportive and enjoyable team environment.

 

Objectives

  • To offer a program that allows racers of all levels to strive for their goals in sport and life
  • To retain a coaching staff that will help the athlete to grow mentally and physically in their sport.
  • To promote the participation of all of the members at all of the events, from races to social events to the all important fundraisers( a family that plays together stays together)
  • To keep ski racing costs as low as possible through programs such as; membership equipment buy nights, equipment sponsors, and fundraising events.
